Before your first session
Your first few sessions with the Swing Sync can feel a little awkward, especially once you start hitting balls - and that's completely normal. Your body and arms aren't used to the new motion and connection yet, so don't get discouraged. The goal is to gradually make it feel natural in your swing.
Step One
Set your trail arm
Place the trainer just below your right elbow. That’s your trail arm — it anchors the connection.
Step Two
Set your lead arm
Rest the other side in the middle of your left forearm, sitting slightly further down than on your right.
Left-handed? Simply mirror the setup.
Step Three
Get used to the feeling
Take a few practice swings without a club to feel your arms and body working together.
It may feel foreign at first — relax and let your hips, lower back and arms move as one.
Step Four
Introduce a club
Make slow, controlled swings, focusing on controlling the club. Don't hit any balls yet.
Try to gently brush the grass with each practice swing, slowly building up your confidence.
Step Five
Your first range session
Now, you can start hitting some balls. Start with half swings to get the feeling of arm-body connection, then work your way up to full swings
Remember this won't be easy at the start. Try to learn the lower half of the swing first as it's the most important.
Focus on your tempo, creating a whipping motion, and driving all your power into the ball.
Your first session may feel awkward, or it may be the best range session of your life. Be patient and drill the motion.
Step Six
Trust the process
Don’t get frustrated. Depending on your old swing, the Swing Sync can change it completely — that’s exactly the point. Stick with it.
Bring the Swing Sync to all your range sessions. Eventually, you'll take the Swing Sync away and feel real connection without it.
It's also a really good tool to use before a match to drill the feeling of connection.
If you enjoy the Swing Sync, please leave a review! We'd really appreciate it.
