Step 1: Set Up the Plate

  • Place the Alignment Plane Plate flat on the ground.

  • Position it just outside the golf ball, aligned parallel to your target line.

  • Ensure the plate is stable and flush with the turf or mat.

Step 2: Insert Alignment Sticks

  • Insert 1–2 alignment sticks into the angled slots of the plate.

  • Angle them so they match your club’s natural swing plane.

Lower angle → irons & wedges

Slightly higher angle → driver & woods

💡 Tip: From down-the-line, the stick should point roughly through your hands or trail shoulder at address.

Step 3: Address the Ball

  • Set up normally with the ball in its correct position.

  • Your club shaft should visually match the angle of the alignment stick.

  • The stick becomes your reference plane for the entire swing.

Step 4: Train the Backswing

  • Make slow practice swings.

  • Keep the club under or along the alignment stick on the takeaway.

  • Avoid lifting the club above the stick early (common steep error).

✅ Goal: Club stays “on plane” without crossing or hitting the stick.

Step 5: Train the Downswing

  • On the downswing, feel the club drop under the alignment stick, not over it.

  • If you hit the stick, your downswing is likely too steep or over-the-top.

🎯 Focus on shallow, inside-to-square delivery.

Step 6: Progress to Full Swings

  • Start with half swings.

  • Move to 3/4 swings, then full swings once contact is clean.

  • Remove the sticks occasionally to test your natural motion.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Setting the sticks too vertical

❌ Standing too close to the plate

❌ Swinging full speed immediately

❌ Using the same angle for all clubs

Best Practice Routine (5–10 Minutes)

  • 10 slow rehearsal swings

  • 10 half shots

  • 5 full swings

  • Remove sticks → 5 free swings

I don’t have tons of time to practice anymore so I needed something that helps me feel proper sequencing again. The Swing Sync gives me that body-arm connection feel I used to have when I played more often. 10-15 swings before hitting balls and I’m way more consistent.

Been playing for 20 years and still fight that arms-only move. This trainer really locks you in so you can’t fake the motion. Forces you to rotate properly. It’s awkward the first few swings but after that you just feel that “one piece” move. My contact’s night and day.

Honestly I thought this would be another gimmick. I’ve tried most training aids out there. But this one actually gives instant feedback. You either move your body with your arms or it tells you right away. Been using it 3 weeks and my playing partners noticed the difference before I did! :)

I’m 61 and not trying to hit it 300 yards, just want solid contact again. This helps me keep everything moving together instead of just my arms flailing around. The feeling takes me back to when my swing was simple. It’s made practice fun again.

ngl this thing’s actually sick. Been grinding my swing all summer and couldn’t figure out why I was losing power. used the swing sync a few sessions and instantly felt my arms staying connected. ball just comes off way cleaner now. didn’t expect much but it works.
